Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. cabbage head, quartered and sliced thin as you can long
  • 5 stalks celery, cut thin crosswise
  • 2 or 3 large white onions, cut lengthwise and sliced thin
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • salt to taste
  • egg roll wrappers
  • egg whites
  • 2 c. chopped chicken or shrimp
  • soy sauce to taste

Directions

    Using a wok or heavy deep pan, add oil.

    Add celery and onions; cook until tender and crisp.

    Remove and set aside.

    Add 1 tablespoon oil, 2 tablespoons water, all of cabbage and salt to taste; cook until limp.

    Drain in colander.

    Add chopped chicken or shrimp. Add soy sauce to your taste; set aside to drain for 10 to 15 minutes.
