  • 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 whole Egg Whites

    Over medium heat in a small pot place oats and water (and salt, optional). Bring to a heavy simmer, stirring frequently until most of the water has been absorbed by the oats. Reduce heat down to low and mix in the egg whites, stirring constantly for about 4 minutes. You will notice the egg whites will start to fluff a bit, become white, and the oatmeal will take on a thicker creamy consistency. Once the oatmeal has finished cooking, pour it into a bowl and add in your flavorings.
