- 12 eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1/2 gal. milk
- 6 to 8 cooking spoons sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- nutmeg
Directions

1Separate eggs.

2Cream yolks with sugar.

3Add vanilla, cream and milk.

4Cook over low heat until mixture comes to boiling point.

5Boil slightly.

6Beat 12 whites with enough sugar to hold together. When milk mixture is finished, sprinkle with nutmeg. Fold egg whites into milk.

7Serve.

8Add spirits if desired. Serves 10 to 12 people.
