  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 1 qt. milk, scalded
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • nutmeg or cinnamon to taste

    Beat 3/4 cup sugar into egg yolks.

    Cook in double boiler, stirring constantly, until coats spoon.
