- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 1/4 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. eggnog
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.

3Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.

4In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter with an electric mixer to form a grainy paste.

5Add eggnog, vanilla and egg yolks and beat at medium speed until smooth.

6Add the flour mixture and beat at low speed just until combined.

7Do not overmix.

8Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheets 1 inch apart. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.

9Bake for 23 to 25 minutes or until bottoms turn light brown.

10Transfer to cool, flat surface immediately with spatula.
