Eggnog Fruit Dip Recipe

  • 1 1/2 c. dairy eggnog
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 tbsp. light rum
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Assorted fruit dippers (sliced apples, strawberry, cantelope chunks, pear slices)

Directions

    In medium saucepan, combine eggnog and cornstarch.

    Cook and stir over medium heat till thick and bubbly.

    Cook for two or possibly three min.

    Remove from heat.

    Cover with plastic wrap and cold.

    Whip cream and sugar till peaks form.

    Fold whipped cream, lowfat sour cream and rum into cooled eggnog mix.

    Refrigeratefor several hrs or possibly overnight.

    Serve with fruit.
