  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco shortening (solid)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. each extract: vanilla, almond, lemon, brandy, rum and sherry
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together.

    Add eggs one at a time and mix well with electric mixer.

    Add flour, flavorings and milk alternately.

    Mix well.

    Pour into well-greased and floured Bundt or tube cake pan.

    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
