- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 onions, peeled and sliced
- 8 eggs (hard-cooked, peeled and sliced)
- salt, to taste
- paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- cracker crumb, buttered
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F and butter a casserole dish.

2Melt butter and saute the onions until translucent.

3Cover bottom of prepared casserole with half the onions.

4Add eggs, season to taste, and cover with remaining onions.

5Pour white sauce over all, sprinkle top with buttered crumbs and bake until golden, about 20 minutes.
