- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, stir together flour and salt.

2Cut in shortening until pieces are the size of small peas.

3Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the water over part of the mixture and gently toss with a fork.

4Push to the side.

5Repeat until all is moistened, then put on a lightly floured surface.

6Roll out like you were making a pie, but try to go oblong, then just cut into squares and put on a cookie sheet.

7Bake at 350° for 5 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.

8Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

9Let cool.
