- 34 cup sifted flour
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 cup melted butter
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 12-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate bit
- extra butter, for pan
Directions

1Sift together the dry ingredients.

2Blend together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.

3Beat in the egg.

4Add flour to mixture.

5Fold in chocolate bits.

6Line cookie sheet with foil and warm in oven.

7Smear foil with butter.

8Drop dough by teaspoonfulls leaving room for cookie to spread.

9Bake 5 min@ 375 degrees watching carefully so they do not burn.

10Remove when edges are brown.

11They may not look done but'remove from oven'.

12Cool slightly.

13Lift off with a spatula and drain on paper towel.
