- 1 medium sized elephant
- 1 ton pepper
- 200 bushels carrots
- 2 small rabbits (optional)
- 1 ton salt
- 500 bushel potatoes
- 4,000 sprigs parsley
Directions

1Cut elephant meat into bite-size pieces.

2This will take about 2 months.

3Cut vegetables into cubes (another 2 months).

4Place meat in pan; cover with 1,000 gallons of brown gravy and simmer 4 weeks.

5Shovel in salt and pepper to taste.

6When meat is tender, add vegetables.

8Simmer slowly 4 more weeks.

9Garnish with parsley.

11If more are expected, add the 2 rabbits and this is not recommended as very few people like hare in their stew.
