Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 ounces rum, such as Sammy Hagar's Beach Bar Rum
  • 1/2 ounce Licore Strega
  • 1 ounce Perfect Puree of Napa Valley Beverage Artistry series Thyme and Citrus blend
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice, strained
  • 1/4 ounce elderflower syrup, such as Monin
  • 3 dashes orange flower water
  • 3/4 ounce pasteurized egg whites
  • Fresh thyme sprig, for garnish

Directions

    Combine the rum, Licore Strega, puree, lemon juice, elderflower syrup, flower water and egg whites in a mixing glass or tin and dry shake (without ice) for approximately 10 seconds.

    Add a scoop of ice and again shake for 10 to 15 seconds.

    Strain the contents into a double old-fashioned glass or oversize tumbler over ice.

    Garnish with the thyme.
