- 1 c. sliced pears, peeled if desired
- 1 c. sliced peaches, peeled
- 1 c. cherries (pitted or whole)
- 1 c. pineapple chunks
- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. brown or granulated sugar
Directions

1Combine fruit and water in a 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole. Cover; microwave at High for 5 1/2 to 8 1/2 minutes, until fruit is almost tender.

2Stir after 4 minutes.

3Stir in sugar.

4Re-cover fruit; let stand 2 minutes.

5Compotes may be served warm or cold. Makes approximately 1 quart.
