  • 1 large onion
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 cans red chili sauce or enchilada sauce
  • 12 corn tortillas or corn chips
  • 1 lb. grated cheese
  • 1 large can ripe olives, sliced
  • 1 large can chili and beans
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. water

    Brown onions and meat.

    Combine tomato paste, water, and chili sauce; add to meat and bring to boil.

    Layer 1/4 of meat in greased casserole.

    Cover with 3 tortillas, then cheese and olives; alternate layers.

    Add chili and beans before top layer of cheese and olives.

    Bake 1 hour at 325°.

    Freezes well.
