  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)
  • 1 can taco sauce (small)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can chopped green chilies
  • 9 (approximately) corn tortillas, cut into bite size pieces

Directions

    Brown hamburger meat and add onion and garlic; cook until onion is limp, then add the canned ingredients.

    In a large, shallow dish, alternate the meat, tortillas and cheese in that order.

    Bake at 325° to 350° until bubbly and cheese is melted.
