- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. chili powder
- 1 can chili with water
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 18 tortillas (1 can)
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Saute ground beef and onions in a large skillet until beef is cooked and onions are tender.

2Add tomatoes, salt, chili powder; simmer for 10 minutes.

3Stir in 1/2 cup tomato sauce.

4Spoon a little beef mixture over bottom of a 2-quart casserole.

5Alternate layers of tortillas and chili, ending with tortillas.

6Pour remaining tomato sauce over top.

7Sprinkle with cheese.

8Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
