Ingredients

  • 1/2 cans 8 Oz. Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Knorrs Caldo De Tomate
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Dark Chili Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons All Purpose White Flour
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick Chicken Base (bouillon)
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil

Directions

    Put all ingredients into a blender and blend till well mixed.

    If you want a more spicy sauce, increase the Chili powder to 2 Tablespoons.

    Put 1 T. of oil in a medium sauce pan.

    Turn stove to med-high and pour the sauce into the pan.

    Cook until bubbly and thick, stirring continually, about 5 minutes.

    **If you cannot find Caldo de Tomate, use 3-4T.

    mild chili powder,1/2 small onion, and 1/8 t. cumin.

    This is a perfect sauce for Chicken or Cheese Enchiladas and Pork Tamales.
