- 2 lb. tomatillos
- 3 Serrano chiles
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
- oil
- dash of soda
- dash of sugar
- salt and pepper
- White Sauce
- 1 c. whipping cream
- grated Jack or Cheddar cheese
- 12 corn tortillas
- hot sauce
- 2 c. cooked chicken, shredded
- 7 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Remove papery husks from tomatillos.

2Wash tomatillos and chiles well.

3Cook, covered, in a little boiling water until tender, about 15 minutes.

4Remove stems and seeds from chiles. Place chiles and drained tomatillos in blender container.

5Add onion, garlic and cilantro and blend until pureed.
