Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. walnuts or pecans
  • 3 to 5 Hershey bars

Directions

    Cook butter, sugar, water and vanilla to 300°.

    Pour onto a well-buttered cookie sheet.

    Immediately lay on Hershey bars. When melted, spread chocolate evenly over cooked mixture.

    Top with nuts.

    Let cool and break into pieces.

    Makes 36 pieces.
