Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 sq. chocolate (to be melted and added later)
  • 3/4 c. butter (Land O Lakes)
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts, toasted

Directions

    Melt butter and add other ingredients.

    Stir and cook until candy thermometer reaches 310°.

    Pour over nuts which have been toasted for 15 minutes at 200° on a buttered cookie sheet.

    When cool, spread 2 squares melted chocolate over candy.

    (Use white or dark chocolate.)

    Break into pieces when cool.

    Tastes like a Heath bar.
