  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 onions mediums sized, sliced lengthwise
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • 8 curry leaves
  • 2 green chilles green, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes medium, choped
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • chilli powder teaspoon red red
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves
  • salt to taste

Directions

    In a pan heat oil.

    Add mustard,curry leaves & cumin seeds. Let it splutter.

    Add onions, garlic & green chilies.

    Let the onions brown a little. Add the chopped tomatoes.

    Keep the heat low. Add the garam masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder,Dark Soy sauce, pepper powder & salt to taste,.

    Mix well.

    Add Cubed Bread & mix well.

    Leave on heat for a few minutes till the Bread brown lightly on the surface.

    Squeeze the lemon juice over the Bread and mix.

    Garnish with chopped corriander leaves.
