- 1 lb. butter (no margarine)
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 2 c. sugar
- about 15 (1 3/8 oz.) Hershey candy bars
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Place butter and water in electric frypan.

2Set at 400°.

3Melt butter with water, then add sugar and stir.

4Cook 10 to 12 minutes (about 270° or 280° on candy thermometer), stirring constantly. When cooked, pour out on cookie sheet.

5Immediately place Hershey bars on top to cover.

6When soft, swirl with spatula.

7Sprinkle ground walnuts on top.

8Use back of spoon to press nuts into chocolate.

9Cool and break into pieces.

10Christmas must; makes great gifts.
