- 1 chicken (4 lb.), cut into 10 pieces
- 1 Tbsp. adobo seasoning
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 cup alcaparrado condiment, drained
- 1 onion, sliced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup HEINZ Distilled White Vinegar
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1Rub chicken with adobo seasoning.

2Heat oil and butter in large skillet on medium heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.

3Add chicken; cook until evenly browned on all sides, turning occasionally.

4Remove chicken from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet; drain chicken on paper towels.

5Meanwhile, add alcaparrado condiment, onions, vinegar, garlic, pepper and bay leaf to reserved drippings; cook and stir 3 min.

6Return chicken to skillet; cover.

7Simmer on medium-low heat 1 hour or until chicken is done (165F).

8Remove and discard bay leaf.
