  • 1 medium head cabbage, shredded coarse
  • 1 pt. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook cabbage in boiling salted water for a few minutes.

    In medium bowl, mix milk, butter and flour.

    Stir cooked and drained cabbage into sauce.

    Place in baking dish.

    Cover with bread crumbs and cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown on top.
