Escalloped Pineapple

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, partially drained (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 lb. margarine or butter
  • 4 c. fresh bread cubes (about 1-inch squares with crusts)

    Beat together eggs and sugar.

    Add pineapple and butter, cut in pieces.

    Mix together.

    Pour over bread cubes.

    Pour into rather shallow, slightly greased pan (9 x 13-inch).

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
