  • 1 cabbage
  • 6 slice of bacon
  • 1 sausage link
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper

    chop up onion and put aside.

    chop up cabbage, throw out core.

    set cabbage aside.

    cut up one sausage link (any kind of sausage you prefer is fine.

    then set that aside.

    cook bacon until crisp.

    discard bacon saute the onions in the bacon grease along with the diced up sausage.

    cook about seven minutes.

    add cabbage to pan with grease, onions, and sausage.

    melt the butter and pour over top of cabbage.

    let cabbage get down to half its size.

    cover with a lid let cook down for twenty minutes.
