- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. unpopped corn or 7 1/2 qt. popped corn
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt.

2Heat to boiling.

3Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add soda and vanilla; mix thoroughly.

4Pour over popped corn in large bowl.

5Place on 2 jelly roll pans (15 x 10 x 1-inch) or 1 large roasting pan.

6Bake at 200° for an hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

7When cool, place in covered container.
