  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran Buds
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. soda
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran

Directions

    Pour water over Bran Buds.

    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda.

    Mix all together.

    Stir until moistened; keep in covered container for up to a month in refrigerator.

    May add raisins or nuts or dates.

    Bake in muffin tin at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.
