Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 well beaten egg
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- about 5 c. plain flour (enough to make stiff dough)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.

2Add sugar and flour to yeast mix.

3Blend.

4Let rise 30 minutes.

5Mix remaining ingredients.

6Add to first mixture.

7Cover with greased wax paper (even if using Tupperware).

8Put in refrigerator.

9After chilling, make rolls as needed.

10Brush melted butter on rolls in greased pan. Use lots of melted butter in pan that is warm.

11Rise in warm place, approximately 2 hours.

12Bake in 350° to 375° until desired color. Keep unused dough in refrigerator.
