  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. cold shortening, cut up
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 can beer, warm or stale

    Mix well and roll out. Cut with biscuit cutter or drop in greased muffin tins. Bake at 375° until browned, about 15 minutes.
