Extremely Simple Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs hamburger (or ground venison if you prefer)
  • 5 slices bacon, cut in 1/4 inch wide pieces
  • 3 (16 ounce) cans mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 (16 ounce) can green beans, drained (or any kind of vegetable you prefer)
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Directions

    Place Mixed Vegetables, Green Beans, Tomato Sauce, Diced Tomatoes, and chopped onion in a large pot.

    Set to the side.

    Brown hamburger meat in a large skillet.

    Drain excess fat off.

    Then place in large pot along with all the vegetables.

    Slow cook the bacon until it is done, but not crisp or overly done.

    Scoop out of pan and place in pot with all other ingredients.

    Place pot on Medium heat and allow to cook, stirring often.

    Salt and pepper according to your taste.

    When the onion has became tender, you're soup is done!
