- 1 lb. dried chickpeas or fava beans
- 3 slices white bread
- 2 canned hot cherry peppers
- 3 sprigs parsley
- 3 eggs, beaten
- garlic, salt and pepper to taste
- peanut or corn oil (for frying)
Directions

1Soak peas or beans 12 hours in cold water.

2Remove skins and place in Cuisinart.

3Grind with bread, peppers and parsley.

4Add eggs and seasonings.

5Let stand 1 hour.

6Form into balls and flatten to fry.

7Fry in deep oil.

8Serve hot with hot salsa to your liking.
