Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy saucepan (2 1/2 to 3-quart).

    Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Cook another 5 minutes, being careful not to let it scorch. Remove from heat.

    Add chocolate chip pieces.

    Let them melt, then add Marshmallow Creme, nuts and vanilla.

    Beat until well blended, then pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan (well-greased).

    Let cool. Cut into squares.
