- 3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2/3 c. (5 1/3 fl. oz. can) evaporated milk
- 1 (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1 (7 oz.) jar Kraft marshmallow cream
- 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2 1/2-quart saucepan.

2Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234° or a soft ball forms in cold water, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

3Remove from heat; stir in chocolate bits until melted.

4Add marshmallow cream, nuts and vanilla.

5Beat until well blended.

6Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

7Cool at room temperature.

8Cut into squares.

9Makes 3 pounds.
