Farewell Chili

Ingredients

  • 3 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 3 small green peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • sage to taste
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. McCormick chili seasonings
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. corned beef brisket
  • 1 bottle stout ale
  • 1 can kidney beans

Directions

    Cook brisket 3 hours.

    Grind brisket, peppers, onion and garlic using meat grinder.

    Brown in a 5-quart Dutch oven.

    Add sage to taste, chili seasonings, stout and tomatoes.

    Puree in food processor.

    Add to meat.

    Cook in oven covered 20 minutes.

    Remove cover and add beans and let cool.

    Reheat to serve.
