- 2 Large Onions, diced
- 1/2 stick margarine or butter
- 4-5 cups matzo farfel
- 1 teaspoon salt or more
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper or more to taste
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 1/2 ounces dried morels and their smoking liquid
Directions

1In a large skillet, melt margarine and saute onions and drained morels until tender, add salt and pepper.

2Add matzo farfel and stir until lightly browned, salt again.

3In a large bowl, combine mushroom soaking liquid with broth.

4Add slowly to skillet and cook over low heat, stirring frequently until all liquid is absorbed.
