  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. minced onion (optional)
  • 2 c. fat-free meat drippings *, broth or bouillon, divided
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped mushrooms (optional)

    *To make fat-free meat drippings, refrigerate juices from cooked meats.

    Skim the fat off the top of juices and discard. Use the fat-free juices for gravy or seasoning vegetables.
