  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. broken pecans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, well beaten (one at a time)
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour.

    Stir in light brown sugar.

    Mix in evaporated milk, broken pecans, salt, well beaten eggs (one at a time) and vanilla.

    Have pie shell ready; pour filling into crust. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes or until firm.

    Be sure pie is firm to touch around the edge, but slightly soft in center.
