  • 1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/4 c. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream

Directions

    Let potatoes thaw slightly and break apart.

    Spread in 2 1/2-quart ungreased casserole.

    In a mixing bowl, combine onion, garlic salt, soup and sour cream. Spread this on top of potatoes and mix. Bake 30 minutes in a 350° oven. Remove from oven and top with cheese.

    Return to oven until cheese is melted. Serves 6.
