- 5 c. plain flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. cold mashed potatoes
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1In mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast, potatoes, oil, sugar and salt.

2Beat at low speed for 1/2 minute.

3Add warm water and at high speed, beat for 3 minutes.

4Work in the rest of flour by hand.

5Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours; punch down and turn out on floured board.

6Work slightly.

7Cover and let rest 10 minutes.

8Shape into buns and place on greased pan.

9Let rise until doubled their size.

10Bake at 400° until done (usually about 20 minutes).
