Fennel Seed Bread Drops

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Plain Yogurt
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Fennel Seed (See Note)
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Fennel Seed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Combine all of the ingredients except for the whole fennel seed. Scoop heaping teaspoonfuls onto a baking stone or lightly greased baking sheet. Sprinkle the drops with whole fennel seeds. Bake for 15 minutes at 375°F. Enjoy with a warm beverage.

    Note: I did not have pre-ground fennel seed, so I just ground my own with a mortar and pedestal. I broke up the seeds but did not turn them purely to powder, and they worked just fine.
