- 6 large Golden Delicious apples
- brown sugar
- tab of butter
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- red food coloring
Directions

1Peel, core and cut in half the apples.

2Place in baking dish. Spray with Pam.

3Fill each cavity with brown sugar and a tab of butter.

4Sprinkle lightly over all.

5Add a little water.

6Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.

7Transfer apples to serving platter; reserve all juices and pour into saucepan.

8Mix cornstarch with a little water and add to saucepan, stirring until creamy smooth over medium heat.

9Add a touch of red food coloring and mix well. Pour over apples and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
