Festive Baked Ham

- 1 c. apple cider
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (5 lb.) uncooked ham half
- 12 whole cloves
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Directions

1Combine apple cider and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil; set aside.

2Remove skin from ham.

3Place ham fat side up, on a cutting board; score fat in a diamond design and stud with cloves. Place ham in a shallow baking pan, fat side up and coat top with brown sugar.

4Bake, uncovered, at 325° about 2 hours (22 to 25 minutes per pound), basting every 30 minutes with cider mixture.
