Feta Cheese Foldovers

  • 1/2 (17 1/4 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • Feta Cheese or Broccoli-Cheddar Cheese Filling (recipe follows)
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten with 1 tsp. water

Directions

    On floured pastry cloth with stockinet covered rolling pin, roll pastry into a 12 x 9-inch rectangle.

    Cut into twelve 3-inch squares.

    Place a mounded tablespoon of filling in center of each square.

    Moisten edges with water; fold pastry over filling to form a triangle and press edges together firmly with a fork to seal.

    Brush tops lightly with egg mixture.

    Cover and chill until ready to bake or bake immediately on an ungreased baking sheet in preheated 375° oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
