Fettucini Supreme

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fettucini, cooked and drained
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 8 oz. cooked julienned ham
  • 1 c. cooked peas
  • 4 oz. sliced canned mushrooms
  • 1 c. half and half (or 40% heavy cream)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley

Directions

    Combine fettucini, butter, ham and mushrooms in a saucepan. Beat half and half, egg, nutmeg and pepper until foamy.

    Add to fettucini mixture and stir.

    Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Heat slowly until thickened.

    Serve on plates and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
