Ingredients
- 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. oats
- 1/3 c. wheat germ
- 1/2 c. whole bran or 1/4 c. each whole and oat bran
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour and the remaining dry ingredients and mix together well.

2In saucepan, heat water, molasses and butter to 120° to 130°.

3Butter may not be melted. Add to dry ingredients and beat until smooth.

4Add remaining flour, until dough is soft, but not sticky.

5Knead, let rise in greased bowl.

6Punch down.

7Shape into 2 loaves.

8Let rise until double in bulk.

9Bake at 350°.
