  • 1 pkg. fideo noodles
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 cubes beef bouillon
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hot peppers
  • 1 tsp. vinegar or pepper juice
  • 1 onion, chopped

Directions

    Crush fideo noodles into small pieces.

    In large frying pan, melt shortening and add noodles, stirring until brown.

    Pour in beef bouillon dissolved in water, stewed tomatoes, vinegar, peppers and onion.

    Simmer until noodles are tender and soaked up excess juice, about 20 minutes.

    Better tasting if made ahead. Serves 4 to 6 people.
