  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 6 corn tortillas, buttered
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small can chopped ripe olives
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Brown meat, onion and seasonings until crumbly.

    In a round casserole, alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce, olives and cheese.

    Pour tomato sauce over top.

    Add water.

    Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
