- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can green chilies
Directions

1Beat eggs lightly.

2Stir in cornmeal.

3Add corn, milk, butter, baking soda and salt.

4Place half of the mixture in well-greased casserole.

5Place chilies over mixture.

6Add remaining corn mixture and top with cheese.

7Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350°.
