- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 6 to 7 fig bars, crumbled (about 1 c.)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1In a medium bowl, sift together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine beaten eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Add to flour mixture, stirring until well blended.

2In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3Mix in crumbled fig bar cookies. Pour 1/3 of the batter into a greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 5/8-inch loaf pan.

4Sprinkle half of the fig mixture over the batter.

5Pour another 1/3 of the batter into the pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs over.

6Top with remaining batter.

7With narrow spatula, swirl gently through batter and crumbs to marble.

8Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.

9Let stand 5 minutes to cool and remove from pan.
